This alterations and additions project was for a very astute client who, having renovated the front of the house herself, decided that it was time to get some professional assistance to recreate the rear of the dwelling. The project was a collaboration between Padarc and Domicile. Working closely with the client, Padarc were engaged to design and Domicile to construct, the open plan kitchen, dining and living space, new home office, and the external area consisting of a new covered pergola, decks, BBQ hutch and wet edge swimming pool. The final result, including a soaring veranda and large glazed sliding panel doors, seamlessly and comfortably integrates inside and outside, takes full advantage of the northern orientation and greatly improves the functionality of the family home.
